R Wine Cellar, Urban Winery

Located in the Historic Pittsburgh Strip District, R Wine Cellar is a family-owned urban winery established to bring a world of wine tasting and experiences home to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our goal is to produce premier wines from the best grape-growing regions including California, Pennsylvania, and South America using minimal additives and preservatives. Each wine that we produce is handcrafted and carefully blended to produce distinctive yet very approachable wines.

The Winery is open 5 days a week for bottle sales, managing retail sales as well as commercial accounts along with custom wine labels.

All Handcrafted Wines are made here in the Pittsburgh Strip District at R Wine Cellar on Smallman Street with grapes sourced from California, Chile, and Pennsylvania. Wine is served by the Glass, Flight, and Bottle.

• Local Handcrafted Beer, and PA Spirits are also served by the glass.
• Locally Sourced Cheese Plates and Small Bites are available.
• Ask about – Private Wine Tastings, Pop Up Restaurants and Special Event Space.

R Chalet at Market Square Christmas Market

Every November, the People’s Gas Holiday Market takes place in Market Square, located in downtown Pittsburgh. 7 days a week from Thanksgiving until Christmas, we are pleased to be a returning vendor. This year, the festival opens on Friday November 17, with Light Up Night on Saturday November 18, and goes until December 24.
